Integration Services Architect InfoCenter
In Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS), an architect decides the technologies to use for implementing a given Integration Services solution, and focuses on the interaction and interoperability of individual projects within a solution and individual solutions across the enterprise. As the solution-level decision maker, an architect provides vision and scope to projects within an Integration Services solution, and is known by job titles such as Data Warehouse Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.
