EndSynchronize Method
Ends an asynchronous data synchronization that was started by a call to the BeginSynchronize method.
Namespace: System.Data.SqlServerCe
Assembly: System.Data.SqlServerCe (in System.Data.SqlServerCe.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Sub EndSynchronize ( _
ar As IAsyncResult _
)
'Usage
Dim instance As SqlCeReplication
Dim ar As IAsyncResult
instance.EndSynchronize(ar)
public void EndSynchronize(
IAsyncResult ar
)
public:
void EndSynchronize(
IAsyncResult^ ar
)
member EndSynchronize :
ar:IAsyncResult -> unit
public function EndSynchronize(
ar : IAsyncResult
)
Parameters
- ar
Type: System. . :: . .IAsyncResult
The IAsyncResult interface returned by the BeginSynchronize method.
Remarks
This function should be called on completion of synchronization to test for errors that occurred during the asynchronous data synchronization. If synchronization failed, this function throws a SqlCeException that reflects the synchronization errors. This function is usually called from the user delegate, which is automatically called at synchronization completion.
For information about asynchronous data synchronization in , see "Asynchronous Data Synchronization" in the Books Online.
Examples
The following example shows how to set up replication to perform asynchronous data synchronization.
