Tutorials for SQL Server 2014

SQL Server 2014 introduces many new technologies and features.

There are plans to provide additional tutorials in the future. Meanwhile, you can continue to learn from the SQL Server 2008 R2 tutorials. In some cases, you might find minor differences between the user interface in SQL Server 2014 and SQL Server 2008 R2 and there might be subtle differences in tutorial prerequisites. If a tutorial uses one of the Adventure Works databases, you should download and use the SQL Server 2014 version.

If you are using a SQL Server 2014 server, you have the SQL Server 2014 data providers installed. In order for the tutorials to work, you will either need the SQL Server 2014 sample databases that work with those providers, or you need the SQL Server 2008 R2 data providers that work with the SQL Server 2008 R2 version of the sample databases.
