Toolbar (Cube Structure Tab, Cube Designer) (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data)
Use the Toolbar pane to perform common actions, such as processing or creating new measure groups, on the Cube Structure tab in Cube Designer.
Options
Term | Definition |

Add Business Intelligence | Click to display the Business Intelligence Wizard and add business intelligence features to the cube. |
Process | Click to display the Process dialog box and process the cube. |
New Measure | Click to display the New Measure dialog box and add a new measure to the measure group currently selected in the Measures pane. |
New Measure Group | Click to display the New Measure Group dialog box and add a new measure group to the Measures pane. |
Show Measures | Click to cycle through the following options, or select one of the following options to change the view of the Measures pane: Tree: Display measure groups and measures in a tree view. Grid: Display measure groups and measures in a grid. |
Add Cube Dimension | Click to display the Add Cube Dimension dialog box and add references to existing or new database dimensions in the cube. |
New Linked Object | Click to display the Linked Object Wizard and link measure groups and dimensions from other cubes, and to import actions, KPIs, and calculations, to the selected cube. |
Delete | Click to display the Delete Objects dialog box and delete the selected objects in the Measures or Dimensions pane. |
Move Up | Click to move the item selected in the Measures or Dimensions pane up one place. Note: This option is disabled if the selected item cannot be moved up. |
Move Down | Click to move the item selected in the Measures or Dimensions pane down one place. Note: This option is disabled if the selected item cannot be moved down. |
Show Table | Click to display the Show Table dialog box and display a table from the data source view associated with the cube in the Data Source View pane. |
Hide Table | Click to hide the selected table in the Data Source View pane. Note: This option is disabled if a table is not selected in the Data Source View pane. |
Find Table | Click to display the Find Table dialog box and find a table in the Data Source View pane. |
Zoom | Click to cycle through the zoom percentage options, or to select an available zoom percentage option, for the Data Source View pane. |
Show | Click to cycle through the following options, or to select one of the following options to change the view of the Data Source View pane: Tree View: Display tables, named queries, columns, named calculations, and relationships in a tree view. Diagram View: Display tables, named queries, columns, named calculations, and relationships in a database diagram. |
