InfoPath Forms Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 provide a great way to capture information from a user. Forms can be presented to a user as a Web form right within a SharePoint site. Users can complete a form which gets submitted to the form library in a site. The form library can then use a workflow to route that form for approval. In addition, you can use Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 to create the workflow. Workflows can also be modeled in Microsoft Visio 2010 and then transferred to Microsoft SharePoint Designer.
