Add a content source to crawl Lotus Notes (Search Server 2008)

Important
You must be a shared services administrator to complete this procedure.
Use the following procedure to create a content source of the IBM Lotus Notes content source type.
Important
You must be a search services administrator to complete this procedure. For more information, see Add or remove a search services administrator (Search Server 2008).
Add a content source to crawl Lotus Notes
On the Search Administration page, under Crawling, click Content sources.
On the Manage Content Sources page, click New Content Source.
On the Add Content Source page, in the Name section, in the Name box, type a name for the content source.
Note
Each content source name must be unique.
In the Content Source Type section, select Lotus Notes.
Note
This option does not appear in the Content Source Type section until the protocol handler for Lotus Notes has been enabled and configured. For more information, see Install protocol handlers (Search Server 2008).
In the Server, Database, and Properties section, select one of the following:
Select a server from the following list. Then, from the list, select the name of the Lotus Domino server you want to crawl.

Enter a server name. Next, enter the name of the Lotus Domino server that you want to crawl.
From the Select a Lotus Notes database to index list, select the name of the Lotus Notes database you want to crawl.
In the Crawl Schedules section, you can specify the schedules you want for full and incremental crawls.
If you want to perform a full crawl of this database immediately, in the Start Full Crawl section, select the Start full crawl of this content source box.
Click OK.
