Configure the Local Project Cache settings
This Office product will reach end of support on October 10, 2017. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see , Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.
In Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007, the local project cache feature enables efficient client-server connectivity. Local project cache settings are configured on the Office Project Professional 2007 client and can be set by each individual user.
The two local project cache settings that can be managed on the client are:
Local Project Cache location This is set to a default location on the local computer, but can be set to another location.
Cache size limit The cache size limit specifies the amount of hard disk space that may be used by the local project cache. If the size of cached projects in the local project cache exceeds this limit, the user is prevented from opening or saving projects from the server.
Note
