When the value of the vti_autorecalc meta-key is 0 and you save a page, FrontPage Server Extensions from Microsoft does not regenerate other pages that depend on the saved page. If the value is 1 and you save a page, other pages that depend on the saved page are regenerated.

The values for this meta-key are set by the recalc_op parameter of the recalc control method. If the recalc_op parameter is set to a value of suspend, the vti_autorecalc meta-key is set to 0. If the recalc_op parameter is set to a value of resume, the vti_autorecalc meta-key is set to 1. Wizards in Microsoft FrontPage use this meta-key, primarily when creating Web sites.
