Creates a subscription association in the subscription association collection.

Parameters

• name
  Type: System.String

  The name of the subscription association.

• methodInstance
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.IMethodInstance

  The excuted Association MethodInstance.

• lobSystemInstance
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.ILobSystemInstance

  The external system instance where the Association is executed.

• expireAfter
  Type: System.TimeSpan

  Specifies how often the association is executed.

• destinationSubscription
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.Offlining.ISubscription

  The subscription that will be populated with the associated destination external items.

• targetView
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.IView

  The SpecificFinder view on the destination external content type that will be populated by the association.

• properties
  Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<KeyValuePair<String, Object>>

  The key/value pair of properties.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.Offlining.ISubscriptionAssociation
The new subscription association.

Remarks

Instances of objects in the Business Data Connectivity object model are tied to the Metadata Store they are obtained from. Using instances tied to one Metadata Store with the instances from another Metadata Store will cause data corruption and other unexpected behavior. For more information, see DatabaseBackedMetadataCatalog, FileBackedMetadataCatalog, and RemoteSharedFileBackedMetadataCatalog.
