Attempts to get the default value of the type descriptor defined for the specified method instance.

Parameters

• forMethodInstance
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.MetadataModel.IMethodInstance

  The method instance to get the default value for.

• value
  Type: System.Object

  The returned default value.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the value is found; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Instances of objects in the Business Data Connectivity object model are tied to the Metadata Store they are obtained from. Using instances tied to one Metadata Store with the instances from another Metadata Store will cause data corruption and other unexpected behavior.
