ISystemUtility.CreateEntityInstanceDataEnumerator Method

Converts line-of-business data stream into an enumerator of objects that represent external items.

Parameters

• rawStream
  Type: System.Object

  Line-of-business data stream to convert.

• sharedEntityState
  Type: Microsoft.BusinessData.Runtime.ISharedEntityState

  Shared state of external items that are going to be generated from the returned enumeration.

Return Value

Type: System.Collections.IEnumerator

An enumerator that contains the objects that correspond to external items.

Remarks

Instances of objects in the Business Data Connectivity object model are tied to the Metadata Store they are obtained from. Using instances tied to one Metadata Store with the instances from another Metadata Store will cause data corruption and other unexpected behavior.
