Prerequisites for Developing PerformancePoint Services Extensions

Before you can develop a PerformancePoint Services extension, you must have access to the assemblies used by your project. For information about the PerformancePoint Services DLLs used by supported development scenarios, see PerformancePoint Services DLLs Used in Development Scenarios.

Note

To develop and test your extension, you may also have to fulfill the requirements of a PerformancePoint Services installation, which is part of the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 with Enterprise Client Access License. For more information about requirements, see Determine hardware and software requirements (SharePoint Server 2010).
