Using XML in Word

You can create smart documents from Microsoft Office Word 2003 documents marked up with XML. These documents can be saved as .doc, .dot, or .xml files.

Using XML in Excel

You can create smart documents for use in Microsoft Office Excel 2003 from workbooks that have been mapped to XML data or schema files. These workbooks can be saved as .xls, .xlt, or .xml files.
