User Experience During Phase 5

Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 will reach end of support on January 9, 2018. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.

Users will experience downtime while their accounts are being moved. Because the new features that are provided by Office Communications Server 2007 R2 are not available to users of Office Communications Server 2007, the user experience will otherwise remain unchanged until you have deployed upgraded clients to the users that you have moved.
