Set MIDI Export Start Time Dialog Box

The Set MIDI Export Start Time dialog box enables you to select options for MIDI export before beginning to record. Right-click the Start or Stop Export to MIDI File button on the Wave and MIDI Export Toolbar to open the following dialog box.

You can select one of the following options:

  • Save lead-in measure

    One empty measure, based on the time signature of the component currently in the Transport List, is inserted at the beginning of the recorded MIDI file.

  • Start at bar 1

    Playback is recorded without a silent beginning measure. The first measure of the performance is placed in measure 1 of the exported file.
