IMpeg2PsiParser::GetRecordStreamType

The implementation of this method is provided as sample code with the DirectShow SDK. It is not a supported DirectShow API.

The GetRecordStreamType method retrieves the stream type for a specified elementary stream in a program.

Syntax

Parameters

wProgramNumber

[in]  Specifies the program_number field of the program, as given in the PAT. Use the GetRecordProgramNumber method to obtain the program number.

dwRecordIndex

[in]  Specifies the elementary stream in the program, indexed from zero.

pbVal

[out]  Pointer to a variable that receives the stream_type field from the PMT.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the values shown in the following table.
