IMpeg2PsiParser::GetRecordElementaryPid

The implementation of this method is provided as sample code with the DirectShow SDK. It is not a supported DirectShow API.

The GetRecordElementaryPid method retrieves the PID assignment for a specified elementary stream in a program.

Syntax

  HRESULT GetRecordElementaryPid(
    WORD wProgramNumber,
    DWORD dwRecordIndex,
    WORD *pwVal
);

Parameters

wProgramNumber

[in]  Specifies the program_number field of the program, as given in the PAT. Use the GetRecordProgramNumber method to obtain the program number.

dwRecordIndex

[in]  Specifies the elementary stream, indexed from zero.

pwVal

[out]  Pointer to a variable that receives the elementary_PID field from the PMT.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the values shown in the following table.
