Description

Specifies the method for calculating how quantities of an item should be calculated for replenishment.

Constant	Description
Not Planned	No suggested purchase orders or manufacturing orders will be created.
Lot For Lot	An order policy for ordering the exact quantity needed, provided that the order quantity is between the minimum and maximum order quantities.
Fixed Order Quantity	An order policy type that calculates order size for a day's requirements based on one or more of these variables: standard order quantity, order increment size, minimum order size, and maximum order size.
Period Order Quantity	An order policy type that calculates order size for requirements for a period you specify based on one or more of these variables: standard order quantity, order increment size, minimum order size and maximum order size.
Order Point	Suggested purchase orders will be automatically created based on the order point quantity on the item.
Manually Planned	Purchase orders will be manually created.
