Set up an item allocation key

Use this procedure to create an item allocation key and to create item allocation lines.
Click Inventory management > Setup > Forecast > Item allocation keys.
Click New on the toolbar or press CTRL+N to create a new item allocation key.
Enter an identifier and a name for the key. The name could be the relevant item group, for example.
Click Lines to open the Item allocation lines form.
Select the item number and any applicable inventory dimensions. Then enter the percentage of the total aggregate forecast quantity that you want to allocate to the item.
Note
The total percentage that you allocate may exceed 100 percent.
