Release production orders

Use this procedure to release production orders to the shop floor. If the production order that you select is not already estimated or scheduled, the system will automatically run an estimation and operation or job scheduling process before it is released.
Click Production control > Periodic > Production orders > Release.
Click the Select button. In the query form, select the criteria to filter and sort the orders that you want to release. Then click OK.
Select the production orders to release.
On the Overview tab, select or clear the References check box. If this check box is selected, subproductions are also released.
On the General tab, select or clear the Print job card, Print route job and Print route card check boxes, and then click OK.
Note
You can also release production orders from the All production orders list page. Click Production control > Common > Production orders > All production orders. Select the order, and on the Action Pane, on the Production order tab, in the Process group, click Release. Then follow the procedure that is described above.
