Create or maintain your vendor invoices

You can create and modify vendor invoices by using the Vendor invoices page on the vendor self-service portal in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX. You can create an invoice from a purchase order or a product receipt, or you can create an invoice and add a purchase order to it.

Note

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.

View or modify a vendor invoice

  1. Click Vendor portal on the top link bar, and then click Vendor invoices on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Vendor invoices page, you can view a list of vendor invoices to review or edit. Click an invoice number link to view the details for the invoice. Depending on the status of the selected invoice, you might be able to modify the invoice details. For example, you can modify invoices that have a status of Draft. If the invoice has a status of Paid, you can only view the details for the invoice.

Create a vendor invoice

  1. Click Vendor portal on the top link bar, and then click Vendor invoices on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Vendor invoices page, click the Invoice tab on the Action Pane, and then click one of the following buttons:

    1. Click Invoice to create an invoice.

    2. Click From purchase order to create an invoice from a purchase order. Select the purchase order on the page that is displayed, and then click Select.

    3. Click From product receipt to create an invoice from a product receipt. Select the product receipt on the page that is displayed, and then click Select.

  3. Enter the header details for the invoice. Click Create to create the invoice.

  4. On the View invoice page, you can view or modify the line information for the invoice.
