In Retail, you can create a statement to transmit transaction data from the point of sale (POS) database to the database for the head office. You can use the statement to calculate the total amount of all transactions that have occurred since the last store statement, and to calculate a related count of payment methods.

The topics in this section provide information about how to create, calculate, and post statements.
