Assign product dimensions to a product master

Product dimensions are assigned to product masters. The product dimension group controls what product dimensions are available to assign to a product master. For more information about product dimension groups, see Product dimension groups (form).
Assign product dimensions to a product master
Click Product information management > Common > Products > Product masters.
Select a product master.
On the Action Pane, in the Product master group, click Product dimensions.
Click the Sizes, Colors, and Configurations links, depending on the types of dimensions that you want to assign to the product master.
Note
The links that are available depend on the dimensions that are active in the product dimension group that is associated with the product master. For more information about how to associate a product dimension group with a product master, see “Define a product master” in Key tasks: Define products.
Click New to create a new dimension for the product master.
Enter an ID for the dimension, and optionally enter a name.
Note
To use attributes other than the color and size, you can rename the Color and Size product dimensions. The product dimensions are created and maintained in the Product dimension groups form.
