Divider.Finalize Method
Frees the resources of the current Divider object before it is reclaimed by the garbage collector.
Namespace: Microsoft.Ink
Assembly: Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub Finalize
'Usage
Me.Finalize()
protected override void Finalize()
protected:
virtual void Finalize() override
protected override function Finalize()
Remarks
In C# and Managed C++, finalizers are expressed using destructor syntax.
Note
when overriding the Finalize method in a derived class, call the Finalize method of the base class so that the object's resources are properly released.
The Divider object's Finalize method is automatically invoked during garbage collection unless finalization by the garbage collector is disabled by the System.GC.SuppressFinalize ( System.Object ) method. Thus, application code should not call this method. Starting with the Microsoft .NET Framework software development kit (SDK), the following topics provide more information: Finalize Methods and Destructors, Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources, and Overriding the Finalize Method.
