Item Method of the IFPCLogs Interface

The Item method retrieves the requested FPCLog object (IFPCLog interface in C++) from the collection. The object to be retrieved can be for Web proxy logging or Firewall service logging.

Syntax

  [in]   FpcLoggingComponents lc,
  [out]  IFPCLog** pItem
);

Parameters

  • lc
    A value from the FpcLoggingComponents enumerated type that indicates whether the interface to be retrieved is for Web proxy logging or Firewall service logging.

  • pItem
    Address of an interface pointer that on return points to the IFPCLog interface specified by the lc parameter.

Return Value

The method can return one of the following:

  • S_OK, indicating that the operation succeeded.
  • An error code, indicating that the operation failed. In this case, the [out] parameter returned is a null object.

Return Value

This method returns a reference to the FPCLog object requested if successful. Otherwise, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
