VoIP Registry Settings

The registry stores information that is used to configure the system for applications and hardware devices. The registry settings listed here can be used to modify VoIP-specific functionality.

Sound Settings

The HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds can be used to override the default sounds for VoIP specific call scenarios.

Value : type Description

DialingVoIP : MULTI_SZ

The sound played when dialing a new VoIP call. The path of .wav and .mid files must be specified.

RingBackVoIP : MULTI_SZ

The sound played after dialing a VoIP call. The path of .wav and .mid files must be specified.

TransferComplete : MULTI_SZ

The sound played when a call transfer is completed. The path of .wav and .mid files must be specified.
