Application Mappings Dialog Box

Configures the Internet Information Services Application Mappings property for the selected folder on the target computer. That Internet Information Services property lists associations between file names and executable files on the server.

To access the Application Mappings dialog box, select the AppMappings property in the Properties window when a Web folder is selected in the File System Editor.

User Interface Element List

  • Application Mappings Table
    Displays a list of application mappings, including file extensions, the associated executable files, and the verbs that are allowed for the extension.

  • Add
    Opens the Application Extension Mapping dialog box, which allows you to add a new mapping.

  • Edit
    Opens the Application Extension Mapping dialog box, which allows you to edit the selected mapping.

  • Remove
    Deletes the selected mapping.
