Removes an IIS website.

Syntax

Remove-Website

      [-WhatIf]
      [-Confirm]

Description

The Remove-Website cmdlet removes a website from an Internet Information Services (IIS) server.

Examples

Example 1: Remove a web site

IIS:\> Remove-WebSite -Name "TestSite"

This command removes the site named TestSite.
