Install-SPInfoPathFormTemplate

Installs an InfoPath form template on a farm.

Syntax

Description

The Install-SPInfoPathFormTemplate cmdlet installs an InfoPath form template on a farm.

Examples

This example installs a single form template to the farm.

Parameters

-AssignmentCollection

Manages objects for the purpose of proper disposal. Use of objects, such as SPWeb or SPSite, can use large amounts of memory and use of these objects in Windows PowerShell scripts requires proper memory management. Using the SPAssignment object, you can assign objects to a variable and dispose of the objects after they are needed to free up memory. When SPWeb, SPSite, or SPSiteAdministration objects are used, the objects are automatically disposed of if an assignment collection or the Global parameter is not used.

When the Global parameter is used, all objects are contained in the global store. If objects are not immediately used, or disposed of by using the Stop-SPAssignment command, an out-of-memory scenario can occur.

-EnableGradualUpgrade

Specifies that the new form can be gradually upgraded.

  • If specified and the form template file exists, the form template is gradually upgraded and is then used for new sessions only.
  • If not specified and the form template does not exist, the form is overwritten during an upgrade and is then used for exisiting and new sessions.
  • If specified and the form template file does not exist, ignore the switch.
  • If not specified and the file exists, the user is prompted to upgrade and to use the gradual upgrade if the upgrade is allowed.
