Removes a SQL Server extension from a virtual machine.

Warning

The AzureRM PowerShell module has been officially deprecated as of February 29, 2024. Users are advised to migrate from AzureRM to the Az PowerShell module to ensure continued support and updates.

Syntax

Description

The Remove-AzureRmVMSqlServerExtension cmdlet removes an AzureSQL Server extension from a virtual machine.

Examples

Example 1: Remove a SQL Server extension

PS C:\> Remove-AzureRMVMSqlServerExtension -ResourceGroupName "ResourceGroup11" -VMName "ContosoVM22" -Name "SqlIaaSAgent"

This command removes a SQL Server extension from the virtual machine named ContosoVM22.
