Enhancements & Improvements

  • In the ‘Read from Excel worksheet’ action, the named cells option has now been enhanced with a new toggle button under the Advanced input parameters, which permits omitting any empty Excel columns and rows to the right and at the bottom of the named range respectively.

  • The produced data table variable of the action ‘Search for text on terminal session’ has been extended to also include the length of the found text.

  • The error messages for the action ‘Extract data from web’ have been enhanced to provide clearer guidance.

  • The flow timeout property in the console has been simplified for easier use.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:

  • An issue regarding duplicate desktop flow binaries, which occurred when a desktop flow was edited in both a source and a target environment and was reimported in the target environment through a managed solution, has now been resolved.

  • When a flow that runs through the console and includes list, custom object, and/or data table output variables, completes its run, the variable ‘View’ button in the outputs window now works as expected.
