Business value

Makers can mark parameters in manual trigger as optional.

Feature details

Currently in Power Automate cloud flows modern designer, you can add a manual trigger or Power Apps trigger such that the flow runs on demand—make a selection from the portal or mobile. You can add input parameters like text, yes/no, date, email, file, and more when triggering the flow, too. However, if any of these input parameters should be optional, the capability didn't exist in the modern designer yet, which was available in classic designer.

With this update, you can mark any input parameter in manual trigger in modern designer as optional.

In modern designer, no option to make input parameter as optional, dropdown, or multiselect.
