Important
The 2022 release wave 1 plan covers all new functionalities planned to be delivered to market from April 2022 to September 2022. In this article, you'll find the product overview and what's new and planned for AI Builder.
Overview
AI Builder will be investing in two main areas as part of this release:
- Document automation: The ability to process unstructured documents (for example, contracts and emails). By extracting insights from the semantic understanding of the text in unstructured documents, we'll be able to extract key information from documents, and process them automatically in an end-to-end flow using Power Automate.
- Model ops: Increased capabilities to effectively manage the governance and lifecycle of AI models. We'll focus on building a feedback loop process, which enables improvement of model accuracy by retraining models with data processed in production.

Content intelligence
Microsoft Power Platform is intelligent and capable of leveraging AI to read content for understanding and using it in your apps and flows. In 2022 release wave 1, we’ll focus on document processing excellence and improving model operations. We’ll also improve our unstructured document processing capabilities, giving users the ability to interpret text and extra key information from a wide variety of unstructured documents.
