2.2.7.2.2 Server Response Extensions

An SMB_COM_NT_TRANSACT (section 2.2.4.8) response for an NT_TRANSACT_IOCTL ([MS-CIFS] section 2.2.7.2) subcommand MUST be sent by a server in reply to a successful NT_TRANSACT_IOCTL request.

The NT_TRANSACT_IOCTL response is a special case of the SMB_COM_NT_TRANSACT command response. Only the NT_TRANSACT_IOCTL specifics are described here.
