Azure consumption commitment benefit
The Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) is a contractual commitment that your organization may have made to Microsoft Azure spend over time.
Microsoft automatically counts eligible marketplace purchases towards your organization's Azure consumption commitment. Marketplace purchases that contribute towards your organization's Microsoft Azure consumption commitment are limited to Azure benefit-eligible offers.
Important
- Azure prepayment (previously called "monetary commitment") isn't eligible for this benefit.
- Exclusions might apply to Azure CtC agreements signed prior to this marketplace benefit. For eligibility questions, contact your Microsoft account executive.
Which marketplace offers count toward my MACC?
Azure benefit-eligible offers are badged in the Azure Marketplace and Microsoft AppSource to help you identify solutions that contribute toward your organization's commitment.
All Azure benefit-eligible offers purchased through Azure Marketplace contribute 100% of the pretax purchase amount toward your organization's commitment.
To take advantage of the MACC benefit, purchase an eligible offer on Azure Marketplace or AppSource using an Azure subscription associated with your Microsoft agreement.
Note
Microsoft Azure services billed to your organization through an Azure Marketplace deployment inherently contribute toward your organization's commitment. An additional benefit to purchasing Azure benefit-eligible offers is that the software/IP costs incurred by purchasing solutions from Microsoft partners also contribute 100% of your Azure Marketplace invoice.
