Feature details
Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty policy portfolio includes several policy initiatives to help public sector customers in their efforts to meet established regulatory frameworks. We're thrilled to announce the latest Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty Policy Portfolio additions.
In our continuous commitment to enhancing user experience, we have introduced the Spain ENS initiative to our policy portfolio public GitHub as well as through a built-in Azure Policy. Additionally, we continue to enhance and update existing initiatives as regulatory frameworks and guidelines are updated.
In addition, we have also introduced a policy initiative to verify compliance against the NIS2 directive. We continue to collaborate with NATO to not only improve the D32 directive policy initiative but also extend its scope to include the handling of NATO-restricted information. This extension underscores our commitment to supporting NATO's diverse security requirements and ensuring compliance across all classification levels for the protected business network in a public cloud.
Lastly, we're dedicated to broadening support for additional regulatory frameworks, particularly focusing on multinational requirements in Europe as well as other global regions. These efforts aim to provide users with comprehensive compliance solutions tailored to diverse regulatory landscapes.
