Business value

With this new capability, Store Operations Assist admin app users can establish a specific time zone for each business unit. This designated time zone will serve as the reference for the business unit manager and other users associated with the same business unit. Furthermore, the due times assigned to tasks will now align with the respective business unit's time zone. In instances where a store associate is affiliated with more than one business unit, the Store Operations Mobile will prompt the associate to select the appropriate time zone upon login. Subsequently, the chosen time zone will be set for that associate, ensuring accurate time-related functionalities within the application.

Feature details

Large retailers have stores operating across different time zones. While managing store operations, it's important that the users, who are part of the stores, and the task assigned to the stores, follow the store time zone. Not only does this streamline task management, but also shows the correct task compliance. With this new capability, district managers will not have to worry about assigning task due time manually. They can simply publish the task plan and SOA will take care of the rest.
