Business value
Frontline workers or store associates in retail are entrusted with making the shopping experience delightful for customers. As they navigate the day, store associates must execute store activities, interact with teams and managers, view activity statuses, and attend to customer queries. The integration of Store Operations Assist with Teams Shifts allows associates to access critical store data, insights, and perform various operational tasks within the familiar Teams environment. Whether it's inventory management, customer support, or sales-related activities, associates can effortlessly switch between Teams Shifts and Store Operations Assist to optimize their workflow.
Feature details
Store associates and managers can easily use the Store Operations Assist app pinned in Microsoft Teams. Activities created in the Store Operations Assist app will also be available in Teams seamlessly. The feature will provide store associates with the right tools to collaborate using Teams chat.
This integration provides a centralized platform for store associates, enabling them to access both their shift schedules and the Store Operations Assist mobile app within Microsoft Teams. Store managers would be able to view shift statuses, and associates would be able to find experts based on available shifts. By consolidating these functionalities, associates can save time, avoid unnecessary app switching, and focus on their core responsibilities.
