Business value
Project managers and users who are responsible for setting the price list for roles, materials, and categories can add a date-effective price override. This allows the price to change from a specified date until the end of the price list's effective date.
Currently, users must select each price to see if a date-effective price override has been applied, making it a click-intensive process.
With the new feature, users are able to see the number of price overrides available for each price directly in the price list view, improving visibility and reducing the need for excessive clicking.
Feature details
The roles, categories, and materials with price overrides on the price list are only visible when the price line in the grid is expanded.
To enhance the user experience, the grid rows indicate when a price override is applied to make it easier to identify these overrides without expanding each price line.
