Inventory Availability Plan (report)

The Inventory Availability Plan report shows an overview of specific items and stock-keeping units, and their availability. The report shows accumulated values such as gross requirements, scheduled and planned receipts, inventory, and so on.

Use cases

Production managers use the report to:

  • Identify shortages of raw materials or finished goods and plan accordingly.
  • Monitor inventory levels for specific items and stock-keeping units.
  • Track the availability of materials and goods so they're ready for production when needed.

Sales representatives use the report to:

  • Check the availability of specific items and stock-keeping units for customers.
  • Determine when items can fulfill orders.
  • Provide customers with accurate information about when they can expect to receive their orders.

Warehouse supervisors use the report to:

  • Monitor inventory levels for specific items and stock-keeping units.
  • Identify items that are over- or under stocked.
  • Plan for incoming and outgoing shipments based on inventory availability.
