Business value
Sending and following up on emails sent to accounting, sales or customer service mailboxes just got easier now that you can have Business Central send emails on behalf of current users even with a legacy SMPT setup.
Feature details
When setting up outgoing email through the Set up outgoing email assisted setup guide, admins can now set SMPT accounts to send emails on behalf of a currently signed-in user, by simply setting Sender Type to Current user.
Note
If the current user Sender Type is used, ensure that the account is allowed to send on behalf of the current user.
