| Connecting | 0 | The endpoint is connecting. |
| Connected | 1 | The endpoint is connected and can be used for both incoming and outgoing messages. |
| Disconnecting | 2 | The endpoint is disconnecting. |
| Disconnected | 3 | The endpoint can be used for outgoing messages. The endpoint will not receive or process any incoming messages. |
