Remarks

Instances of this interface manage which X509 certificate-based key pairs are used to authenticate the local side of a secure socket.

During secure socket negotiations, implentations call methods in this interface to: <UL> <LI> determine the set of aliases that are available for negotiations based on the criteria presented, <LI> select the best alias based on the criteria presented, and <LI> obtain the corresponding key material for given aliases. </UL>

Note: the X509ExtendedKeyManager should be used in favor of this class.

Properties

Handle

Gets the JNI value of the underlying Android object.

(Inherited from IJavaObject)
JniIdentityHashCode

Returns the value of java.lang.System.identityHashCode() for the wrapped instance.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
JniManagedPeerState

State of the managed peer.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
JniPeerMembers

Member access and invocation support.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
PeerReference

Returns a JniObjectReference of the wrapped Java object instance.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)

Methods

ChooseClientAlias(String[], IPrincipal[], Socket)

Choose an alias to authenticate the client side of a secure socket given the public key type and the list of certificate issuer authorities recognized by the peer (if any).

ChooseServerAlias(String, IPrincipal[], Socket)

Choose an alias to authenticate the server side of a secure socket given the public key type and the list of certificate issuer authorities recognized by the peer (if any).

Disposed()

Called when the instance has been disposed.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
DisposeUnlessReferenced()

If there are no outstanding references to this instance, then calls Dispose(); otherwise, does nothing.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
Finalized()

Called when the instance has been finalized.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
GetCertificateChain(String)

Returns the certificate chain associated with the given alias.

GetClientAliases(String, IPrincipal[])

Get the matching aliases for authenticating the client side of a secure socket given the public key type and the list of certificate issuer authorities recognized by the peer (if any).

GetPrivateKey(String)

Returns the key associated with the given alias.

GetServerAliases(String, IPrincipal[])

Get the matching aliases for authenticating the server side of a secure socket given the public key type and the list of certificate issuer authorities recognized by the peer (if any).

SetJniIdentityHashCode(Int32)

Set the value returned by JniIdentityHashCode.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
SetJniManagedPeerState(JniManagedPeerStates) (Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
SetPeerReference(JniObjectReference)

Set the value returned by PeerReference.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
UnregisterFromRuntime()

Unregister this instance so that the runtime will not return it from future Java.Interop.JniRuntime+JniValueManager.PeekValue invocations.

(Inherited from IJavaPeerable)
