Remarks

This class represents an IP prefix, i.e., a contiguous block of IP addresses aligned on a power of two boundary (also known as an "IP subnet"). A prefix is specified by two pieces of information:

<ul> <li>A starting IP address (IPv4 or IPv6). This is the first IP address of the prefix. <li>A prefix length. This specifies the length of the prefix by specifing the number of bits in the IP address, starting from the most significant bit in network byte order, that are constant for all addresses in the prefix. </ul>

For example, the prefix 192.0.2.0/24 covers the 256 IPv4 addresses from 192.0.2.0 to 192.0.2.255, inclusive, and the prefix 2001:db8:1:2 covers the 2^64 IPv6 addresses from 2001:db8:1:2:: to 2001:db8:1:2:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff, inclusive.

Objects of this class are immutable.

Constructors

IpPrefix(InetAddress, Int32)

Constructs a new IpPrefix from an IPv4 or IPv6 address and a prefix length.

Properties

Address

Returns a copy of the first IP address in the prefix.

Class

Returns the runtime class of this Object.

(Inherited from Object)
Creator

Implement the Parcelable interface.

Handle

The handle to the underlying Android instance.

(Inherited from Object)
JniIdentityHashCode (Inherited from Object)
JniPeerMembers
PeerReference (Inherited from Object)
PrefixLength

Returns the prefix length of this IpPrefix.

Methods

Clone()

Creates and returns a copy of this object.

(Inherited from Object)
Contains(InetAddress)

Determines whether the prefix contains the specified address.

DescribeContents()

Implement the Parcelable interface.

Dispose() (Inherited from Object)
Dispose(Boolean) (Inherited from Object)

Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one.

(Inherited from Object)
GetHashCode()

Returns a hash code value for the object.

(Inherited from Object)
GetRawAddress()

Returns a copy of the IP address bytes in network order (the highest order byte is the zeroth element).

JavaFinalize()

Called by the garbage collector on an object when garbage collection determines that there are no more references to the object.

(Inherited from Object)
Notify()

Wakes up a single thread that is waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
NotifyAll()

Wakes up all threads that are waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
SetHandle(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

Sets the Handle property.

(Inherited from Object)
ToArray<T>() (Inherited from Object)
ToString()

Returns a string representation of the object.

(Inherited from Object)
UnregisterFromRuntime() (Inherited from Object)
Wait()

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64, Int32)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

(Inherited from Object)

Extension Methods

JavaCast<TResult>(IJavaObject)

Performs an Android runtime-checked type conversion.

JavaCast<TResult>(IJavaObject)
GetJniTypeName(IJavaPeerable)

Gets the JNI name of the type of the instance self.

JavaAs<TResult>(IJavaPeerable)

Try to coerce self to type TResult, checking that the coercion is valid on the Java side.

TryJavaCast<TResult>(IJavaPeerable, TResult)

Try to coerce self to type TResult, checking that the coercion is valid on the Java side.
