Windows 11: Tweaking Virtual Based Security (VBS) on

Introduction

According to Microsoft "Virtualization-based security, or VBS, uses hardware virtualization features to create and isolate a secure region of memory from the normal operating system."

So when you are trying to play a game Windows 11 prevents you from reaching the top performance. In this article we will see how we can tweak VBS.

Steps:

  1. Click Start
  2. Type in  Windows Security in Search box.
  3. click on the Core isolation details. According to Microsoft Core isolation is a security feature  that protects important core processes of Windows from malicious software by isolating them in memory. It does this by running those core processes in a virtualized environment. 
  4. Now toggle the button to On/Off positions to check the changes.
