Introduction

Microsoft Azure AZ-300 and AZ-301 are the new exams for Azure Solution Architect Expert certification. The AZ-300 and AZ-301 exams replace the older 70-535 exam, which was retired on December 31, 2018. These two exams are part of Microsoft’s new role-based certification program. Candidates who pass both exams will earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

Learning Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification

There are a total of 2 exams required to pass in order to earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

You need to pass above both individual exams, then you will earn the Azure Solutions Expert certification.

The AZ-300 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam tests and validates your expertise as an Azure Architect around Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps; among a list of specific expertise categories within each of these. Microsoft Ignite Video Learning

Microsoft Learning are publishing the lab instructions and lab files on GitHub. There is a GitHub repository for the AZ-300, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, and AZ-301, Microsoft Azure Architect Design, courses.

Within each repository there are lab guides in PDF format. If appropriate, there are accompanying zipped files with any additional files that are needed to complete the lab.

Exam Result Day

Process of preparing for this exam is very interesting, sometimes stressful but at the end it is worth the effort and time. Even if you have good experience with Azure there is always some topics that you are not good at, and you will need to learn and take a lot more time to understand them.

Certificate is only proof that you took some time to learn and practice certain topics and that you have some knowledge in them, nothing else.
