SCOM Dashboards stop working suddenly by not displaying any thing on them OR Unable to create any new dashboards in SCOM.

Issue: Your SCOM Dashboards which were working/viewing data will stop working by not displaying the layout or any data in it. You may not be able to create any new dashboards as well. Below are few screenshots of the issue.

Creation of New Dashboard will be stuck in Loading page:

Dashboards Not displaying any Layouts or Data:

Cause: This is mostly caused due to BAD Authored Management packs from third party vendors. In this example it was HP OneView Management packs as below:

When you rename any dashboard with this issue you will see an Exception like the below:

Solution: Remove the management packs from SCOM to fix the issue. Call the vendor to get an updated Management pack which fixes the issue.

Once we remove the Management packs of HP OneView in the example all works as expected as in the below screenshot:
