SharePoint 2016: Configure Outgoing email settings using Gmail
Hi,
We can configure outgoing email settings in SharePoint 2016 using Gmail.
The steps are below:
- Create a Gmail account.
- Enable POP3 in your Gmail account.
- In your SharePoint server enable SMTP feature. This, in turn, enables IIS 6.
- Configure SMTP server in IIS 6 to send using your Gmail account.
- Enter the information in your Central Admin.
