System Center 2012 – Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Error Codes [3000-3499]

Use Ctrl-F to find a specific code.

That .vmdk file in turn points to a binar y .vmdk file. With the Copy-VMDK cmdlet, use the .vmdk file that contains the metadata. \n\nAdditionally make sure that both .vmdk files are not corrupted, and then try the operation again. Command Line Interface: Add a value to the -SourceNetworkConnectionID parameter to specify the network connection name or the MAC address of a TCP/IP bound network adapter on source machine %ServerName;. If the configuration of the source machine changed, gather system information again by running the New-MachineConfig cmdlet.

Ensure the WMI service is installed and running on the Virtual Machine Manager management server.

The WMI service cannot process the request. Object not found on the %ServerName; server.

Ensure that the agent is installed and running. If the agent is installed, the WMI object may not have been found.

VMM is unable to complete the request. The connection to the agent %ServerName; w as lost.

Ensure that the computer %ServerName; exists on the network, WMI ser vice and the agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTPS and WMI traffic.

VMM is unable to emulate the exact configuration of the source machine %ServerNam e;. The virtual machine memory could not be set to %MemorySize; MB because the current limit on virtual machine memory has been reached on the %VMHostName; host. The memory on the resulting virtual machine will be adjusted to the closest value within the valid range for this host.

Ensure the virtual machine host %VMHostName; has required available memory, and then change the memory on the resulting virtual machine to the desired value. Or, move the virtual machine to a host that has enough memory to start this virtual machine.

The volume %VolumeDriveLetter; of source computer %ServerName; cannot be extended to the size of the resulting VHD due to a system error. The VHD is extended and will have unallocated space.

Consider expanding the volume after starting up the resulting Virtual Machine.

The selected machine %ServerName; cannot be virtualized. Virtual Server supports only 32-bit operating systems.
