How To Change Name in Cortana
Introduction:
Cortana is your personal digital agent which will help you get things done. When you select the search box on the taskbar, Cortana will help you find things and get things done. Type what you're looking for, or select the microphone next to the search box and ask anything of Cortana. It also addresses you by your name on occasion.
Can I change Cortana's name?
No. You cannot change its name. Similarly, you cannot change Siri or Word to something else. It's just a program.
Is there any third-party application for changing default “Hey Cortana”?
Yes. There is an application known as MyCortana which renames Cortana to anything you imagine. But Microsoft has no responsibility for this third-party application.
Can I change my name?
Yes. You can change the name Cortana uses or pronounces.
How?
Press Win+ S keys.
Click the Notebook icon
Click About me
Click Change my name
Put your desired name
Click the Enter button
Click Hear how I'll say it
You can hear it via the microphone.
If Cortana pronounces it correctly you will click on Sounds good. If not, click That's wrong and proceed for further correction.
